Every single Christian holiday in America has been transformed into some other event. The celebration of the birth of Jesus becomes the day Santa flys to your house and gives gifts. Easter (this one is very strange) becomes the day when a giant bunny rabbit lays colored eggs in your back yard. This is culturally fascinating. All of the other religions holidays are SACRED and everyone must recognize and respect quanza and all Jewish holidays. Yet christianities are transformed into some weird affair.
Can you imagine the outrage if people decided quanza was actually just the day that a giant squirrel flew around and dropped Hershey kisses? Historically how did this happen?
Every day in history could probably fall on a pagan holiday if you looked into it enough. Whether or not Jesus was born in December or in the spring is irrelevant. In MODERN culture these are the days we celebrate our religion. I simply find it culturally odd that the Christian holidays exclusively are tainted in america
Even the New York times headlines called him a Christian. There is not one shred of evidence that he belonged to a church or followed any religion what so ever. In fact every single Christian knows the ten commandments and knows that no Christian would ever kill as this guy did. He is not a Christian at all, but just a nut case extremist. So why does the media call him a Christian?

I’m just wondering…. I’m a christian, he’s an athiest. We both like eachother & we’re gonna date I’m just wondering if any of you have had problems in your relationships or not? (I’m not a fundie. I don’t try to push my religion on anyone if they aren’t open to it.)
So Im Christian and Im not close minded Im excepting of all people and I love all people.
Im also don’t push religon on people I actually don’t like talking about it unless around people who are christian.
And Im in love with a atheist guy and I know to some its "immoral" but I don’t see whats immoral about it
My parents say I shouln’t continue because if we have kids in the future we will disagree on what religion they should follow.. or something like that
But anyways what do you think about a christian dating a atheist
I’ve been thinking about how great of a place the world would be without religion, but it just recently occurred to me: without all of these Christian hicks, I wouldn’t seem so intelligent! Thank you for making me look intellectually superior, you abject slaves living under an imaginary dictatorship.
