My mom keeps making profiles on online dating sites and my dad is getting angry. I already tried some programs to block her, but she keeps uninstalling them. Does anyone know anything I could put on that she couldn’t remove. Also, if it would allow me to specifically specify the sites to block like Match.com, EHarmony, Fling.com, etc. Thanks.

I’ve been thinking about giving one of those popular online dating sites a try, but I’m a little sceptical about how safe they are, and I’m also wondering if you can only use these sites if your trying to get married, I mean what if your just interested in a posible committed relationship and your not in a hurry to get married you just want to relax and see where things go, is that allowed on those sites your not?

I would say most of my dates (80-90%) come from online dating sites since it is more convenient (although I do not want to be dependent on it). However, some sites are riddled with spammers, so it definitely has it’s faults.

The traditional way of meeting people (face to face at parties, etc.) is still probably preferred.

What is your take on this? Which method do you prefer and what proportion of your dates come from online sites?
