He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not Bishop Allen Roach Gives History on Dating, and advice for dating in the Church or Christian Dating New Born Church Of God And True Holiness 810 Rollins ave Capitol Heights, MD
So I am going to give all of you answerers as much BG as possible; I lived in Oregon, coming out to visit my aunt and uncle in North Carolina in the summer 4 and 3 years ago, now I’m back in NC and the girl here that I just hung out with every once in a while with big groups and stuff is still my age, but we’re probably both looking for someone to marry. She’s 19 and I’m 20. I don’t think either of us has had a relationship before, and she’s in a big family, 11 kids and one on the way with very conservative christian parents, so I would have to ask her dad if I could date her, which is no big deal… but this last winter she was in Finland for 3 months and met a guy over there and she’s still talking to him on Skype and stuff, and he’s coming to the states this fall with another friend and they’re going to work and go to school here and visit her. But they’re not dating, I asked her if she had a boyfriend in Finland, and she said "not yet" and then she asked if I had a girlfriend in Oregon, or if I ever did, both of which answers are no. Now I thought she was single when I came out here, and I wasn’t sure if I’d like her or not, but now that i’ve been here for a few weeks I really do, and then I come to find out she has someone somewhat in her life…… okay, thanks for reading.
Now I don’t know how to bring up "Hey so are you and so and so kind of serious, do you guys have a good connection, do you really like him? or can I date you? I just don’t know how I’ll bring that up in conversation. The past few days i’ve been discouraged against even caring any more, but since they aren’t dating, I don’t really want to give up. But I have just been sulking in the fact that I’ll have to find someone else that I like, that I have no history with, which I think would make a better relationship. Anyways anything would help. Thanks.
Well my and my girlfriend at the Moment have been dating for a while and she’s a Christian and I’m not a Christian well I’m not anything at the moment I’m undecided and I wasn’t going to decide till I’m 18 next year but someone resently told her it was wrong to be with me because I’m not a Christian but I believe in god and Jesus and everything it’s just I wanna live the life they way I want to until I turn 18 now me and her argue but it’s never over views on things it’s usually over somethin petty and we make up and laugh about it and I told her I’d go to church with her whenever I mean I was baptized as a baby went to church till I was 5 Ect but is it really wrong for us to be together I mean I’m not a unbeliever at all and Ill never try to drag her down cause there’s no where to go so what do you guys think.
went to a Christian church for a while still have most of the views if not all it’s just I dunno anymore I mean after my grandmoms passed I couldn’t go back because it reminded me of her but yeah I just don’t know if I can even consider myself Christian anymore since I stopped praying and everything fir over 7 years until recently when she started nudgin me back into it
Very few to little Christians actually practice dating with chaperones
Dating with chaperones has nothing to do with age. Whether if you’re a minor or an adult, every Christian couple who has a love for God should be dating with chaperones.
We all know how easily we can be tempted to commit impure acts of lust when we’re alone with our boyfriend or girlfriend.
It is true that there are many Christian couples who are doing things that they shouldn’t be doing, which is why the practice of chaperones needs to be brought back into Christian society.
Both my girl friend and I are never alone together. I’m 29 and she’s 26 and always date with a chaperone, because we know it’s the right Godly thing to do.
