Christian Mingle is where I found Josh, so I suppose I am a little biased:)

It is, without a single doubt in my mind, the best dating site online for quality Christian singles.

Let me give you the downside first – there are a LOT of people on Christian Mingle. This means for you girls, you are going to get a LOT of response (especially if you are in the large metropolitan areas) so you should be ready to deal with it. The last estimate I had was that it has 100,000 active members!

My tip for this is to ask your prospective matches a set of pre-made questions you have ready to send them. In this way you can filter out those that are not compatible. Yes, I know, it sounds a little “cold” – but let is face facts – you are looking for you soul-mate here, so you really need to save yourself time.

As for the guys, well, you have some competition – so be ready to put your best, truthfull, god loving foot forward The good news guys is that there are a lot a great women on Christian Mingle. You will find the one you are looking for, I am sure.

Now, for the good points of this online dating service.

Firstly, you need to be able to easily search for people you think you will be compatible with (and they can easily find you). This is so easy to do on this site and will take you no time at all.

Secondly, you need to be able to “dip your toe in” with prospective matches. You can do this using online chat and sending those little emoiticons

Thirdly (which is great) there should be a “community” where you can meet other like-minded people. Christian Mingle has very active chat rooms (which I thought were really fun after I got the courage to start using them) and message boards. It also has very relevent dating advice and general bible studies. The forums are also very informative also – though like every forum I have been on, there are some who should not be posting on them.

The community side of the site even extands into the “real” world. They organize meetings of singles where you can meet others in a safe and comfortable environment – I think they may be the only site that does this (but not too sure). I did not use this but one of my girlfriends did, and she met some truely wonderfull people.

As for me, it took me 5 weeks before I met Josh on Christian Mingle – and I have cherished every moment since.

I can not recommend it enough.
